- Entry Fees for PNSA
Championships at Mt Bachelor will be different, they will send out a race
entry form with complete information.
- See Handbook for entry fee and race sign up information for Western Regionals, USSA Masters Nationals and FIS Masters.
- If a race is having training days
the race organizer will determine the fee and the type of race training.
- Please note some races will
have two separate races per day. A race fee is due for each race.
Race Entries:
- Pre-Race Entry: Mail
entry fees and entry cards to the Race Organizer so that it arrives at least
one week before the race date. See back of this handbook for a copy of the
Race Entry Card (photo copy it). Calling or emailing the race organizer is
NOT considered pre-entering the race.
- Entry on Race Day: In the PNSA division, all races but the PNSA Championships at Mt Bachelor will accept 'day-of-race' entry. Expect to pay a late fee, usually $5.00 more than the stated entry fee.
-
Entry via on-line: No longer available
(until we can find a volunteer to set this up with Active.com)
PNSA Overview:
PNSA Masters hosts races
throughout the Pacific Northwest from January to April. Race in as few or as
many races as you like. There is a season overall points competition per
gender and age category, and a points competition for the Team title. Ski
helmets must be worn for DH, SG and GS training and races. It is suggested
to wear a helmet for SL too. Racers are only allowed into the race arena
under the approval of the race officials, for pre-race course inspection and
during the race to help side slip the course.
PNSA Goal:
We welcome all levels of
skiers, from those looking to challenge themselves through ski racing, to
the most avid adult masters ski racer. Our goal is to have fun, ski with and
meet new friends and create great memories. Your goal is to promote masters
racing by bringing a friend to a race and spreading the word about masters
racing.
USSA/PNSA Membership
Requirements:
Racers must have a current USSA
Masters Competition Card (2006). Card must be shown at time of race sign in
and your USSA license number must be noted on the entry cards. A temporary
or day of race membership can be purchased at the race site. See
www.ussa.org
or
www.pnsa.org
for more information.
